Master planning and Community Links™ Assessment of a 9-hole municipal golf course set in the rolling redwood hills of Marin County, built in 1919. Our Master Plan focused on balancing the highest-and-best-use case scenarios for the course including: increasing sustainability, lowering maintenance costs, fostering inclusivity within the community, and tee adjustments to allow for the golfers of all skill levels to enjoy the course equally.
Most recently, SGD was engaged to lead the redesign and construction of a new patio area and putting course, as well as adjustments to the 1st tees. This space is utilized by the entire community as an outdoor entertainment venue, and has continued to build upon the Community Links™ efforts embraced by this community.
