The Match Course at PGA National

A complete re-imagination of The Squire Course, originally designed in 1983 by George and Tom Fazio. The Match Course was designed solely for match play, placing a focus on balancing heroic design with conservative options. This design looks toward the future of the game, and provides a playing field more relevant to today’s golfer, while working within the constraints of an existing housing development with land area restrictions. Work included all design development, permitting assistance, construction oversight and provision of design shaping services.
