Championship Course at Sand Hollow

A completely new golf course built on the red sands of Southern Utah, this project was the first major project for new course work SGD had undertaken. The focus of a destination resort in Southern Utah, the Championship course integrates sustainable practices throughout including natural agronomy, a gravity-fed irrigation system and minimal earth work, utilizing the existing sand dune contours throughout the property. The design pays homage to the sand belt region of Australia, integrating artistically shaped bunkering, large greens, and multiple options of play.
